Under the line management of the Procurement and Logistics Manager, the Logistics and Maintenance Officer is responsible for timely and in full capacity logistics support on program applying MAG procurement and logistics policies and procedures ensuring compliance with MAG, donor and local legislation requirements.
Principal Responsibilities:
Procurement
1- Handle all logistics components for MAG projects in collaboration with the Procurement and Logistics Manager (PLM).
2- Ensure implementing MAG Procurement and Logistics policies by maintaining a high-quality procurement system that is accountable, transparent, and compliant with donor and local legislation (LAF/LMAC restrictions).
3- Assist on tender preparation and evaluation.
4- Ensure timely updating of the procurement trackers.
5- Ensure the supplier database is updated and minimum MAG requirements are met by the suppliers and service providers before incurring any cost; maintain the robust local suppliers’ relationships.
6- Keep active monitoring of the purchasing process including Identifying Suppliers, preparing Bid Analysis, negotiating prices, ensuring timely deliveries, completing payment paperwork in compliance with MAG and Donor policies and procedures, and maintaining proper inventory levels.
7- Ensure that the filing system to record and archive all procurement files is rigorously maintained.
8- Ensure that procured stocks are received, registered, and dispatched in an efficient and accountable manner, including proper documentation related to the handover of items to MAG stakeholders and MAG employees.
9- Perform other ad-hoc duties per program needs.
Maintenance:
1- Responsible for the maintenance of MAG offices, international guest houses (electricity, plumbing, internet, etc), assets and equipment.
2- Ensure maintenance reports are completed in timely manner.
3- Maintain a good tracking record of all repairs and maintenance conducted during the month.
4- Provide quarterly analysis on the maintenance cost and recommendations.
5- Perform other ad-hoc duties per program needs.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, supply chain, or relevant study and experience preferably with INGO, or equivalent years of experience in related field.
- Technical certifications in related field are a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement of goods and services, preferably working in the humanitarian sector in Lebanon on projects funded by international donors.
- Proven experience and qualifications in house and equipment repairs.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills with ability to engage professionally with stakeholders and suppliers in a cross-cultural environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage tight deadlines.
- Good English Language (Spoken and written)
- Proficient in MS Excel.
