MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Activities

• .Plan and prepare lessons and topics to be given to the class on a daily and a weekly basis
• .Coordinate with teachers of the same level concerning the daily and weekly plans
• .Report the plans to the Social Worker,HOC and the project coordinator
• .Deliver the material of the plan on a daily basis to the children
• .Maintain class order and organization
• .Document children’s attendance
• .Report the progress of the children through assessments on a timely basis
• .Fill the pre-tests and post-tests assigned by MEHE with the children
• .Ensure the safety of the children while being in class
• .Submit monthly timesheets to the HOC
• .Participate in all relevant meetings and capacity-building programs
• .Understand and comply with the Child Protection and ECE Policy
• .Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
• .Daily Observation for the children
• .Conducting Quiz’s with the children

Qualifications and Requirements:

• .Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• .Relevant experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
• .Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
• .Strong communication and personal skills.
