1. Tasks and Responsibilities

The area manager will supervise the following centers:

• Massaken Sour
• Siddikin
• Bourj Rahhal
• Maarakeh
• Kharayeb
• Baysariyeh

She/he will:

• maintain good relationships with different entities within the local community;
• manage the centers’ budget and accounting operations;
• supervise the centers’ manager and the staff handling different tasks in the centers;

On the other hand:

• The coordination of project activities and project team members in the centers;
• The coordination of project resources;
• The coordination the relations between the project and involved organizations;
• Providing technical and administrative guidance and support to all project team members;
• Facilitating and organizing the meetings and events regarding project activities in the mentioned centers;
• The development of a proper archiving system for the project-related reporting and correspondence;
• Monitoring of project activities, expected results and reporting on quarterly basis;

2. Required qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in social work or any related field;
• At least 2 to 5 years of expertise in the community work;
• Excellent written English and Arabic, French is an asset;
• Good interpersonal skills, influencing skills and cross-cultural sensitivity;
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Strong networking and coordination skills,
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills,
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

3. Supervision

The Area manager will work under the supervision of the field coordinator.

4. Working hours

The Admin Officer will work five days a week, 8 hours per day.
