Main Tasks:
- Develop and implement an outreach plan that involves community awareness campaigns.
- Inform key stakeholders about the project
- Lead on the implementation of the outreach strategy
- Ensure proper filing of attendance sheets and project documents
- Follow up on all paper work and reporting needed from the field
- Conduct phone calls and follow up with beneficiaries, if necessary
- Follow-up and support to beneficiaries
- Conduct door to door outreach visits in daily basis to identify and engage target community.
- Engage and educate the community by participating in community events and meetings and by making awareness sessions on the program and protection issues.
- Serve as a liaison to community partners and disseminate clear information about the project services directly to host communities and refugees.
- Create a map on the available services that would benefit the community and disseminate information regarding those services.
- Network with social services agencies, schools, municipalities, schools, community stakeholders, etc.
- Ensure that safe identification and referrals are done with transparency and confidentiality efficiency to meet basic needs and provide access to needed services.
- Draft reports as requested for Head of Center and Project Coordinator (if requested)
- Participate to 1 monthly meeting with the project coordinator
- Participate to 1 weekly meeting with the head of center and all staff members
- Provide regular reports to the MEAL department based on the needs of the MEAL plan
- Ensure clean data entry on the platforms and tools required by the MEAL department
- Participate in all capacity-building trainings internally and externally and ensure that proper feedback is provided
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Statistics, or relevant field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience on of outreach and community mobilization is required.
- Prior experience of working on livelihood projects is preferred.
- Good organizational and documentation management skills.
- Knowledge of the functions of community organizations and related human services in the area.
Required Language:
- Fluent in Arabic (Speaking, Reading and Writing)
- Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading and Writing)
- French Ia plus
Technical Competence:
- Ability to ensure confidentiality and privacy with sensitive personal information.
- Good animation skills
- Good knowledge of the Lebanese context and of the relationship between host and refugee communities
- Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools, as well as data management
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
