Procurement Officer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow the procurement process and implement preset purchasing procedures.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department and/or with the budget holder for purchasing budget limits and conditions.
• Process purchasing requests from all departments in the head office and coordinate with Support Services Manager for selections and approvals.
• Liaise with the Program/Project Managers to inquire about their purchasing requests and purchasing plan and item specifications.
• Maintain an updated list of eligible suppliers and consolidated with the lists of other department’s members.
• Call for quotations from suppliers as per the rules and regulations of Movement Social and the donors.
• Compare quotation, and coordinate with support services manager for selecting the best offer, negotiating buying terms, and placing the purchasing order.
• Check invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance of delivered items, prepare payment requests.
• Scan & Archive procurement files

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in procurement
