Good Governance Specialist.

 In the framework of NAHNOO’s work on promoting civic engagement, transparency and good governance in Lebanon, we are seeking to hire a Good Governance Specialist who will be responsible for providing consultancy services to a network of civil society organizations in the development of the advocacy issues that the network will adopt.

In addition to NAHNOO, the new network includes the following organizations: Lebanese Transparency Association (LTA); Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP); Sakker el Dekkeneh; ArabiaGIS; and North LEDA.

Consultancy period: July-November 2018

Expected expert days: > 20

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate sessions to support the network in choosing timely advocacy issues and priorities related to good governance, and transparency in particular.
• Elaborate policy papers and policy briefs about the selected priority issues
• Assist the network in drafting components related to their advocacy statements

Qualifications:

• Must have a Master’s or Ph.D. degree (or a Bachelor's degree with over 7 years of experience) in a relevant area. 
• Must have experience in working with NGO advocacy and capacity-building programs.
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills required.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English
