تجمع "لأ" اشتغل بالفترة الماضية على نشر وترويج حق الرفض وحق كل انسان انو يقول لأ لكل معتقد، ممارسة او حالة. "لأ" بلشت بحملة بسيطة للتعبير عن رفض لقيم ومفاهيم وممارسات عامة. التجمع اللي بلش بحملة صغيرة انتشر وتوسع كفكرة وكمفهوم بشكل كبير ليغطي قضايا وحملات ومواضيع اوسع بكتير من اللي كنا بنطمح الو. This session aims to provide an informal space for discussing the relationship of (in)visible identification (as women, men, LGBT, queer) to the types of political action possible. As such, we aim to discuss how visibility functions politically in Beirut, and how does its gendered manifestation shape the ways in which we choose our political strategies and do politics. To facilitate the discussion, we will touch upon themes such as “coming out”, as well as parts of the “identity politics” versus “queer politics” debate. To honor their memories and press for the law to protect women from family violence, we will be marching through the neighborhoods of Beirut this Saturday, March 10 starting at 3pm.
