Gender Based Violence Expert

Objectives:

NCLW and UNICEF are seeking to hire a GBV consultant to:

• Develop and deliver awareness raising sessions about key messages on GBV and seeking help behavior , online safety along with the risks of child marriage in 10 schools covering the 8 governorates of Lebanon.  

Specific tasks:

• Review relevant and existing awareness raising materials , and other relevant GBV actors developed by MEHE, NCLW, and UNICEF.
• Build the content of the awareness sessions based on the Qudwa material, the child marriage toolkit for education sector, and other relevant material.
• Plan and develop interactive awareness sessions for adolescent girls on the topic of child marriage, school drop outs and online safety as well as other topics as per need while making sure to include discussions, games, and activities.
• Develop a clear plan for the awareness session including the post-follow-up plan to measure the effectiveness of the awareness sessions. 
• Deliver awareness sessions to adolescent girls aged 12 to 16 years old over 20 working days in 8 governates all over Lebanon based on the adopted methodology that was developed.
• Ensure the creation of a positive atmosphere for adolescent girls by encouraging them to express their needs.
• Support DOPS counselors in delivering the sessions for the girls
• Submit a completion evaluation report on the outputs of the sessions.
