The Nawaya Network is an NGO that develops the employability and entrepreneurial skills of underprivileged and marginalized youth.   One of the programs is called "Nawaya Impact Lab", in partnership with UNICEF, which trains unemployed Lebanese and refugee youth on how to generate innovative, income-generating solutions to problems in their communities.  To learn more, please visit: http://www.nawaya.org/impact-lab In 2016, Nawaya reached 650 youth from Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian backgrounds throughout the Beirut area.  In 2017, the aim is to reach 2,400 youth in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and the South.   We are seeking a Business Development Specialist in Beirut to fulfill the following responsibilities: -- Works closely with selected youth teams to refine and further develop their enterprise ideas -- Reviews business models to ensure financial viability and sustainability -- Guides youth on developing budgets for their pilot projects -- Prepares youth to launch their pilot projects and offers mentorship during pilot period -- Communicates progress and needs of youth to Mentorship Manager -- In consultation with lawyer, offers guidance and advice on legally establishing and registering enterprise -- Connects select teams with potential investment and continued mentorship KINDLY NOTE WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO FILL THIS POSITION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AT THE LATEST BY THURSDAY, MAY 11.
