Cooperation
The Netherlands Red Cross (NLRC) and Palestine Red Crescent Lebanon branch (PRCS/L) do have a strong history of cooperation. The first cooperation started in 1994. Since 2003 core of our cooperation is our project which is funded by the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO). Besides our ECHO project NLRC has supported PRCS/L by providing salaries, medicines, running costs and expertise. These have been provided for example during the summer 2006 war in Lebanon, the fighting in Nahr El Bared and the PRCS/L funding crisis.
