Project Officer

Duties and Responsibilities The Project Officer is responsible for the overall management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the project related to the Syrian crisis, while ensuring consistency with NPA’s strategy, goals and values. Under the supervision of NPA country director, the incumbent will undertake the following tasks:   Establish a database for all Syrian actors according to sector. Ensure full and coherent coordination with the Program Manager. Lead the planning and implementation details of the project she/he is mandated to manage. Ensure full adherence to the values of NPA throughout the project implementation. Develop full scale project plans and manage project budget. Be directly responsible for the documentation of the different steps of the project implementation. Liaise with local communities, partners and traditional authorities. Attend all coordination meetings related to the Syrian crisis. Organize coordination meetings with partners and other stakeholders. Undertake monitoring tasks as required. Be responsible for full reporting of project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Evaluate projects and ensure that learnt lessons are incorporated into new project identification processes. Facilitate timely compliance with budgetary and programmatic regulations and ensure full information sharing at all times. Define the project scope, goals and deliverables to all team members and partners when needed. Prepare qualitative and quantitative reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.    Qualifications required Excellent oral and written command of English and Arabic. Fully proficient computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications Three to five years of relevant working experience Strong communication skills, teamwork and ability to establish and maintain positive working relations. Able to take initiative and work independently, with minimal supervision. Having an excellent ability on reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
