Call for Interest The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organisation which provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide. NRC has been working in Lebanon since 2006 on Shelter, Education, Legal counselling and Camp management. Presently, NRC is seeking to engage contractors/suppliers for Repair and Upgrade Zinc Roof to Onduline in South Lebanon. Part of the support for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, to ensure that vulnerable households in Lebanon affected by displacement have access to adequate shelter relevant to their context and needs, NRC Shelter plans to implement minor rehabilitation in the Southern Gatherings. As the outcome of the project is to improve structural stability and weatherproofing through the rehabilitation of existing roofs for the vulnerable households in the gatherings, the objective is to secure refugees from the risks of collapsing roofs and enhance the aspect of shelter as a place of protection from external factors such as rain, wind and insects.
