TENDER PURPOSE:
NRC is seeking a consultant team (an institution or an individual(s) affiliated with an institution) experienced with disaster risk reduction and management to develop Community-based disaster risk management plans at the municipality level in five municipalities of Mhammara, Mechmech, Sarafand, Aarsal and Saadnayel. The consultancy is part of the implementation of NRC’s phase 1 settlement-based approach (SBA) project that includes housing rehabilitation, community infrastructure upgrading, legal services and municipality support components.
The overall objective of the activities under the municipality support component is enhancing the resources and systems of municipalities with the aim of improved service provision. NRC will assist municipalities in their capacity to respond to localized emergency and the housing needs of their communities through the provision of in-kind and technical assistance that improves their preparedness (e.g. Disaster Risk Management plans and GIS integration components). The phase 1 of the project will be concluded by February 2023.

MANNER OF SUBMISSION:
NRC will follow the two envelop process for this procurement. Failure to comply with the above submission instruction will lead to supplier disqualification immediately.
All interested and eligible firms are requested to submit their offers via eTB system (NRC e-tendering website).
