1. Role and responsibilities
The following is a brief description of the role.
Generic responsibilities
Report on the project activities and ensure compliance with plans and NRC standards
Adequately communicate and share information about NRC and our programmes
Suggest new methods and approaches in order to improve the quality of the activities
Carry out data collection as required for the Shelter programme as well as to assist the work of other CCs (ICLA, WASH, Education and CCB)
Prepare and file relevant documents according to procedures
Assist in emergency assessments (i.e. due to mass evictions or harsh weather)
Assist in distributions as needed
Specific responsibilities
Update online shelter database as well as update and generate other relevant shelter databases in accordance with shelter activities and conduct social assessments
Maintain, monitor, archive and report on files in hard copy form
Report for shelter activity progress on weekly basis and as requested
Cross-check relevant databases for conflicts and flag data discrepancies
Prepare and share specific data within NRC Core Competencies
With the support of the SFO, design internal monitoring and reporting tools
Report all protection related concerns - follow internal and external path for in and out referrals
Liaise with landlords/landladies/beneficiaries to obtain their support
Support the process of payments and signature of contracts as needed
Ensure the appropriate documentation is in order for beneficiary contracts and subsequent payments.
Organize and manage beneficiary files and ensure that all necessary documentation is in place.

By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:

Social Field Officers and Assistants, Technical Field Officers and Assistants,
Team Leader, Coordinator, Social Assistant and Project Manager

• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities

Experience with data collection software

• Experience from working in the Bekaa Lebanon
Experience in properly managing confidential information
Knowledge of services provided by other agencies
