Human Resources Coordinator

NRC is looking for highly experienced and dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to establish & grow the HR function nationally in our programme in Lebanon.  This position targets a dynamic and innovative candidate with 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in building HR Policies and Procedures in its different pillars with emphasis on: Recruitment, Performance Management, Entry and Exit Procedures.  Generic responsibilities: Implement NRC’s HR systems and procedures at National level Ensure adherence to NRC policies and the national labor law in all processes and procedures Coordinate staff recruitment and exits, inductions etc. Supervise, train and develop HR teams Coordinate with relevant partners, suppliers, authorities, lawyers etc. Prepare and submit periodic reports as appropriate Train and support line managers in HR processes   Ensure standardization and Compliance of HR processes among all offices Specific responsibilities Ensure that NRC Lebanon have well established Recruitment procedures and advertisement channels Train and develop the capacity of HR and line managers on Recruitment routines Ensure that staff Entry and Exit Procedures/checklists are well established and implemented in all offices Perform Exit Interviews for all staff. Submit Analysis and report on findings Implement and follow up on Global Induction/Onboarding Package for all staff Follow up and advise on the Implementation of NRC Performance Management system and report accordingly  Follow up on breaches and under-performance cases, carry on investigations/assessments as needed and advise on actions. Draft HR policies and Standard Operating Procedures when needed   Work on Retention initiatives for staff Establish a system for External Service providers and Consultancies in NRC and ensure standardization of procedures across all offices 1. Professional competencies These are skills, knowledge and experience that are important for effective performance. Generic professional competencies: 3-5 years of experience from working as a HR in a humanitarian/recovery context Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Fluency in English, both written and verbal Very good Computer skills 2. Behavioral competencies (max 6) These are personal qualities that influence how successful people are in their job. NRC’s Competency Framework states 12 behavioural competencies, and the following are essential for this position: Managing performance and development Analyzing Communicating with Impact and Respect Working with People The employee will be accountable for the responsibilities and the competencies, in accordance with the NRC Performance Management Manual.
