1. Role and responsibilities
The following is a brief description of the role.
Generic responsibilities (max 10)
These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work and Development plan.
Focal point for all NRC software related to field data collection – Mobenzi, Kobo, ODK, etc. As well as RAIS and Activity Info reporting.
Preparing targets monitoring reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) generated from the database.
Data entry on shelter database and extracting data from database as requested by Shelter and WASH PM
Managing data regarding all implemented projects (owners, beneficiaries, bills of quantities, social assessments, annexes, etc.)
Preparing shelter contracts for selected properties as well as payment requests when requested in collaboration with Finance
Provide guidance to social and technical Assistants and Officers in terms of field reporting requirements
Participating in the design of different databases and proposes technical solutions for consolidation of all data related to the project implementation.
Ensuring that all files (both soft and hard copies) are complete, enforcing the correct archiving of the documents and arranging to send relevant files to management and finance when requested.
Coordinate with the M&E department on data sharing and NRC’s Internal Reporting System including donor monthly indicators database.
In charge of all shelter and WASH data back up for the north
Critical interfaces
By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:
CCB : Coordinate on data linked to CCB
Education: Coordinate on data linked to Education
ICLA: refer cases in need of ICLA support and coordinate on service mapping.

Computer literate.

• Experience from working with Shelter and WASH projects in a humanitarian/recovery context
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
• Very good knowledge of English

Experience with start-up of projects is a plus
