Technical Field Assistant (Tfa)

Norwegian Refugee Council is implementing an urgent shelter intervention to improve the shelter living situation of Syrian refugees hosted by Lebanese families in Bekaa- Lebanon, The TFA is expected to represent Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Lebanon in a respectful and professional manner and always act in accordance with NRC Code of Conduct. JOB PURPOSE The main purpose of the TFA is to collect data from the field, communicate issues to the beneficiaries and supervise construction. MANAGEMENT There are no managerial requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -To discuss and explain technical issues to the beneficiaries. -To collect necessary data from the field. -To assist the project coordinator with the preparation of the Contracts, this will include the BOQs and Specifications. -To support the contractors with advice. -To report back to the Project coordinator from site about the works and to complete the necessary forms. -To supervise the works and ensure quality work and adherence to time schedules.
