Detailed Job Description
- Manage volunteers’ on-site activities: Ensures all equipment is ready at the start of day; all phones/tablets are fully charged; forms and questionnaires are ready.
- In coordination with the Senior Field Officer, supervise volunteers and assures that all volunteers are properly performing their tasks/duties and are aligned by the “Nusaned Volunteer Guidelines”.
- Track volunteer record skills, availability, and scheduling through bi-monthly follow-up on performance.
- Keep records of volunteers' attendance and hours worked.
- Answer all beneficiaries’ questions, resolve beneficiaries’ problems, and report their complaints.
- Fill out the survey questionnaires/tools and referral forms in the areas of intervention.
- Decide on how to overcome the problems encountered during the survey and report and challenges or risks to the Senior Field Officer.
- Prioritise the wellbeing of the volunteers and safety of beneficiaries.
- In collaboration with the Senior Field Officer, organise wrap-up sessions and evaluate the daily field activities and progress.
- Support the Senior Field Officer in collecting necessary data for the narrative reports.
- Ensure that houses with missing data are revisited or recontacted before leaving the field the same day.
- Help volunteers ensure adherence to quality standards, duties, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Perform any additional tasks, when requested by the Project Manager and/or Senior Field Officer.
Report to: Project Manager and/or Senior Field Officer
Supervisory Responsibility: Volunteers
Collaborates and Works with: Field Officers, MEAL, Finance, P&C.
Knowledge and Experience
- BA degree, preferably in Business Management or International Affairs
- Minimum of 2 years experience with local and/or INGOs.
- Good team management, and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English language (writing, reading, and speaking fluently).
- Previous Field Experience in vulnerable areas is a must.
- Volunteer experience is a plus.
