Procurement Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize procurement records and files in both digital and physical formats.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation, including purchase requests, quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes.
  • Support in contacting suppliers for quotations, clarifications, and basic inquiries.
  • Track purchase orders and deliveries, ensuring goods and services are received on time.
  • Assist in the verification of deliveries against supporting documentation (invoices, receipts, and delivery notes).
  • Input procurement-related data into Excel spreadsheets and/or ERP systems (training provided).
  • Conduct basic market research to support cost comparisons and supplier evaluations.
  • Contribute to updating and maintaining the supplier database.
  • Support the procurement team in conducting supplier visits when required.
  • Participate in stock and inventory checks as requested.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with Nusaned’s procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Carry out any other procurement-related tasks as assigned by the Head of Operations or Procurement Manager.

Reports to: Procurement Manager
Collaborates with: Project Managers, PDQteam, Finance & Accounting, People & Culture, Communications, Facility Operator, and Field Teams.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently completing final year) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior work experience is not required; this position is designed for fresh graduates.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement, logistics, or supply chain concepts is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP or logistics software is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn, with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
