Tasks & Responsibilities

• Conduct initial interviews with juveniles to understand their status, needs and progress.
• Manage the juvenile cases and develop a clear individualized action plan.
• Conduct individual counselling, provide treatment assessments for appropriate programs, assess at-risk juveniles and facilitate group programs.
• Collaborate with specialists to assess juvenile’s needs and develop treatment plans.
• Investigate juvenile abuse and take authorized preventive action when necessary.
• Report abuse to the Correctional Center Team Leader and collaboratively develop the necessary protective measures to avoid future abuse cases.
• Refer juveniles to educational, vocational, social, sports and cultural programs.
• Send daily evaluation-diagnostic reports on the status of juveniles.
• Arrange all documents and reports concerning the juveniles in an agreed on structure and place for ease of access, record keeping and management.
• Support management in intervening when needed in cases of emergency.
