Call for Instructors Develop Energy-Themed Courses for the Energy Innovation Lab Program Digital Library

The Energy Innovation Lab program is on a mission to supercharge Lebanon’s clean energy transition by equipping high-potential startups with the tools, knowledge, and market access to scale impactful solutions. As part of our program’s blended learning approach, we are enhancing our Digital Library—a vital resource that supports startups throughout their incubation and acceleration journeys.

We are currently seeking expert trainers and content developers to co-create short, high-quality, and engaging online courses on the following priority topics:

A. Courses to Be Developed (But not limited to):

1- Product Development in the Clean Energy Era

• Sustainable product design principles
• Lifecycle thinking and impact analysis
• Integration of sustainability metrics in product design

2- Navigating Product-Market Fit in the Energy Sector

• Market readiness assessment for clean energy products
• Customer segmentation and validation
• Tools like the Value Proposition Canvas and Lean Canvas

3– Regulatory Pathways & Standards for Energy Innovation

• National and international compliance requirements
• Energy labels, safety standards, and certifications
• ESG, SDGs, and sustainability-related reporting

4- Carbon Accounting & Environmental Footprint for Startups

• GHG Protocol, Scope 1/2/3 emissions
• Emissions reduction, offsetting, and transparency
• Tools and frameworks for environmental reporting

B. Eligibility Criteria:

• Subject matter experts in clean energy, sustainability, or innovation
• Experience in curriculum design and digital content creation
• Ability to deliver concise, engaging, and actionable learning experiences

C. Deliverables & Format 

• Video modules (40 minutes to 90 minutes per course)
• Accompanying slides, activities, and readings
• Delivered in English (with Arabic subtitles a plus)
• IP Considerations: All content developed will be owned by the program donors. 

D. Timeline:

• Trainers will be selected by July 18, 2025
• Courses outlines to be delivered by July 31, 2025 (for review & approval) 
• Final content delivered by September 1, 2025
