Videographer – COMMUNITY PERCEPTION TRACKER IN LEBANON

Background
Oxfam is a global movement of people, working together to end the injustice of poverty. Oxfam has been working in Lebanon since 1993. We provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people affected by conflict, and we promote economic justice and good governance, and women’s rights. Oxfam also works with local partners to contribute to the protection and empowerment of marginalized women and men.
Under its WASH program, Oxfam has been responding to the Syria Crisis since 2013, operating via integrated projects in the informal tented settlement across municipalities in the Bekaa. Oxfam’s response includes water trucking services, water tank distributions, and water quality monitoring; provision of communal family latrines with gender-sensitive considerations and for persons with special needs, construction of grey water system, and latrine desludging services; provision of solid waste bins and provision of public health session.
Objective
Oxfam is looking to hire a videographer to produce a short film of various scenes and interviews in two municipalities in North Bekaa around perceptions of COVID19.
Content
- The videographer will be responsible to film various scenes and interviews to document and promote the use of Oxfam’s Community Perception Tracker (CPT) in Lebanon.
- The videographer will be responsible to film various scenes based on a full shot list that will be provided by video producer based outside the country.
- Total number of days will be 4 days.
- The videographer should have suitable equipment to film high level resolution scenes, such as:
- Video camera (with variety of lenses, for shooting wide shots, close-ups, etc).
- Audio support (for conducting interviews).
- Tripod and stabilisers (for conducting interviews and avoiding shaky shots!).
- Sufficient video storage for 4 days' worth of footage.
- The videographer must take into consideration COVID-19 precaution measures during the distribution.
- The videographer is responsible for providing all equipment, memory cards and suitable storage.
- The videographer should have at least 2 years of experience with INGO/LNGO.
- The videographer must have experience conducting interviews and be amenable to directions from field staff.
- The videographer must have the capacity to conduct interviews in English and Arabic.
Location
Two municipalities in North Bekaa.
Timeframe and Payment
100% payment after finishing the tasks and submitting the financial documents.
