Oxfam is looking for an HR intern to support our team in providing HR services.
Under the supervision of the HR officer, the intern will be performing tasks related to the Human Resources department, such as, but not limited to:
- Update personnel files and ensure accurate filing of documents
- Assisting in the recruitment process by posting vacancies, calling Candidates for job interviews, administrating tests etc..
- Keep a recruitment tracking sheet up-to-date
- Assist in drafting letters
- Assist in data entry and proper follow up on leave management and administration of staff and personnel
- Perform other HR duties as required
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Essential – Bachelor’s degree with at least a pass grade.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate in English and Arabic clearly, both verbally and in writing and with all levels of staff, including at a distance
- Able to remain calm under pressure and often in difficult circumstances
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Skills in IT and numeracy for reporting and calculations purposes
- Gender and cultural sensitivity, commitment and an understanding of the values of Oxfam and the principles of equal opportunities.
