• To provide support and mentor Partner staff in implementing their CTP activities. • Work with Partners to ensure that programme is implemented in line with Oxfam policy and agreed standards (as per approved project plans). • To build the capacity of Partner staff to implement cash transfer programme through training workshops, on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring. Areas of focus are likely to include holding community meetings, social mobilisation, post-distribution monitoring, price surveillance monitoring, and other processes. • To work with the Partner staff to ensure that process guidelines and systems is used. • Together with the WASH team, to ensure that the CTP, gender and protection and WASH programmes are appropriately integrated. • To represent Oxfam as necessary. This may be in District Coordination meetings or other similar meetings. • To work with Partners to ensure that reporting is completed in a timely manner and that reports are of high quality. • To encourage mainstreaming of gender and protection ion in increasing knowledge of the staff, community structures and beneficiary communities through trainings/ awareness raising activities and incorporating gender data in program monitoring and design. • In collaboration with the MEAL team, to monitor the impact of the program. The project officer will monitor with MEA and report on output indicators of all aspect of our work and also agree on strategy within the programme for monitoring. • Support preparations for community awareness meetings about basic and specialist protection services. • Support the referral of protection issues to other agencies. • Work with the emergency response team in developing and implementing MEAL and accountability mechanisms • Provide feedback to the emergency response team about protection issues observed or heard in the community.
