Call for Translators

Oxford Policy Management Lebanon is doing a call for Translators on an adhoc basis.

Responsibilities

• Translate various types of documents (from Arabic to English and vice versa). Documents include frameworks, announcements, legal documents, policies, etc.
• Check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent in various documents.

 Qualifications

• University degree in languages, or a related field from an accredited academic institution. A university degree in education is preferred.
• Ability to translate accurately from and into Arabic and English and vice versa.
• Prior experience in translating documents for MEHE or CERD is an asset.
• Experience in working with international stakeholders (e.g. donors, INGOs)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience

 Skills

• Demonstrated fluency in Arabic and English is a MUST;
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
