Responsible for assisting the Country Manager in the management and ongoing development of PACES work in Lebanon. The Deputy Country Manager ensures that PACES work in Lebanon contributes effectively and efficiently towards meeting the short, medium and long term objectives of the organization. Furthermore, the Deputy supports the development of our core program with local and international partners.
3 to 6 years of relevant experience in administration and management in a team environment; strong organizational, networking and representational skills; and an ability to manage a very varied and changing workload;
At least 3 years experience in the field of development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, cross-cultural);
Proven report and proposal writing skills particularly in English;
Budgeting and accounting skills,
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications and in handling of web-based management systems;
Familiarity with sports programs for children is very beneficial;
Resident in Lebanon;
Ability to travel periodically to the Middle East and Europe;
Fund-raising experience is a plus;
A valid driving license.
