Polish Center for International Aid - PCPM is seeking a National Expert in Solar Energy Systems, Beirut and Mount Lebanon, Lebanon.
Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM) is a Polish international non-governmental organization implementing shelter, health care and educational projects in Lebanon since 2012. The mission of the PCPM Foundation is to provide humanitarian, development and rescue assistance to those in need throughout the world, while maintaining the basic principles of humanitarianism, impartiality, neutrality and independence.
The project UN-Habitat and PCPM aims at enhancing health, safety, and security conditions of the host and refugee population settled in Greater Beirut through improved operations of public facilities and enhanced safety conditions of targeted neighbourhoods by providing power to the facilities and the surrounding streets through renewable energy systems’ installation. Renewable energy systems will be provided to 3 selected public facilities, following a detailed technical assessment and design. The systems will provide energy for the operation of the critical infrastructure in the facilities, which are necessary for emergency operations, and they will also benefit the neighbourhoods in which the facilities are located thanks to the installation of street lighting to surrounding neighbourhoods.
