Quobayat Wastewater Network Extension Qatlabeh- Phase-2 Ref. 1/PA/D/2023

The Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM), within the Polish Aid funding, is financing and implementing in Akkar region activities related to the wastewater sector aiming to strengthen subnational governments and service providers to operate sewage systems and wastewater treatment plants and improve the WASH conditions in the area.

The Quobayat village is among the few villages in Akkar that have an operating and maintained wastewater treatment plant.

The Quobayat Municipality gives special attention to the WASH sector since there are 9 drinking water wells in the village that supply 43 villages in the area, inhabited by various communities. Therefore, covering the entire area with a well-functioning sewage system is a key priority for the municipality. Since 2021 Qatlabe district has been connected to the sewage collection system, however, there are still parts of the village that are not connected to the sewage line.

In this context, PCPM has anticipated some works and is requesting the services of a Contractor to execute around 550 m of sewage network as described in this document based on the provided drawings, specifications and bill of quantities.

PCPM hereby invites you to submit a Bid to this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the above-referenced subject.

Interested candidates are requested to prepare the bid in accordance with the requirements and procedures set out in this ITB and submit it by the Deadline for Submission of Bids set out in Bid Data Sheet. 

PS: Intrested candidates should note that  a mandatory site visit and an information meeting will take place on 10.08.2023 at 10:00 AM - Meeting point in front of Kobayat Municipality building Akkar, Norrth Lebanon.
