Field Assistant

 Responsibilities

The Field Assistant will be responsible for implementing project distributions as per program guidelines and will directly undertake and document the following tasks:

• Supports Field Officers in relevant tasks
• Performs proper outreach activities to reach relevant beneficiaries
• Performs proper assessments on field, followed by proper documentation
• Assists in record keeping, assembly, and distribution of basic construction material kits
• In direct contact with beneficiaries through phone communication or household visits
• Ensures all project documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Notifies Shelter Advisor in case of any problem or obstacle in the field
• Informs relevant focal points of any security threats or incidents in the field
• Performs other tasks assigned by the Shelter Advisor

Qualifications and requirements

1. National Staff Position (only Lebanese citizens are eligible to apply)
2. One year of relevant job experience
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Strong planning and organizational skills
5. Valid driving license.
6. Experience in outreach or community work
7. Strong communication skills
8. Experience in distribution or logistics is preferred
9. English or French language skills preferred
10. Experience in supervising construction works is an asset
11. Experience working with local authorities an asset
