Peace of Art Organization (POA) is launching this tender to procure materials and equipment required for carpet-making training under the Weaving Resilience Project. The purpose of this procurement is to ensure the provision of high-quality materials to support vocational training sessions targeting women and youth.

List of Required Materials and Equipment

The supplier is requested to provide quotations for the following items, all of which must be new, high-quality, and suitable for traditional and modern carpet-making techniques:

• Cotton Threads for Looms (3 kg): 100% cotton threads, strong and durable, suitable for use with traditional looms.
• Colored Wool (30 kg): A variety of colors, high-quality wool yarn suitable for hand tufting and weaving.
• Large Loom (1 unit): Wooden or metal frame with a minimum working area of 1.5m x 2m.
• Tufting Gun (2 units): Electric loop-pile or cut-pile type, compatible with wool yarn.
• Heavy-Duty Scissors (3 units): Professional-grade fabric or carpet scissors with ergonomic handles.
• Electric Shearing Tool (2 unit): Adjustable-speed shearing tool for trimming and finishing carpets.
• Beaters / Combs (3 units): Strong and sturdy tools suitable for tightening yarn during weaving.
• Backing Fabric (30 meters): Heavy cotton or canvas background cloth with a minimum width of 1.5 meters.
• Frame / Stretching System (1 unit): Adjustable and stable frame for stretching and finishing carpets.
• Adhesive for Carpet Backing (2 kg): Non-toxic, flexible adhesive suitable for textile applications.
• Yarn – Mixed Colors (10 kg): Assorted colors, suitable for pattern detailing and decorative designs.
• Measuring Tapes (2 units): Flexible 3–5 meter measuring tapes for accurate fabric and design measurements.

Delivery Conditions

Delivery Location: AL Ain – Se’it Matrfe Street – Peace of Art Center – Baalbeck.

Delivery Deadline: within 15 days from Purchase Order issuance

All delivery costs must be included in the quotation.

If the supplier does not provide delivery service, this must be clearly stated in the quotation.

All materials must be inspected and verified by POA staff upon delivery before final acceptance.

Pricing:

• Prices must be quoted in USD and should include VAT.
• Quotes must be accompanied by a letterhead displaying the company's name, phone number, and email address.
• Selection Criteria: The contracted supplier will be selected based on the most competitive price that aligns with the specified requirements in this tender.

• Company License Registration (Obligatory)
• Commercial Registration (Obligatory)
• Certificate of Registration with the Ministry of Finance (Obligatory)
• Certificate of Registration with VAT (Obligatory)
