Peace of Art is looking for an expert M&E consultant with over 3 years experience with NGOs within a project management team. This positions will be a part time position at 10 hours/week. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation framework for a project.

Location: Peace of Art office, Fakiha

The Consultant will assist with:

• Design, coordination, and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and project learning framework for the whole project period.
• Follow up with the youth (16-29) in varying stages of the project cycle to evaluate the project’s outcomes and study its impact.
• Conduct and report pre and post-training questioning for trainings before and after every workshop.
• Conduct interviews and focus group sessions with youth.
• Assess and monitor the relevance and effectiveness of education activities, while including ample space for suggestions and criticism.
• Submit summary reports of activities to record lessons learned, areas for improvement, and tangible examples of success stories demonstrating the program’s impact.
• Assessing the gender implications of the actions/activities within the programs.
• Meet and follow-up with youth implementing small projects and report back every 2 weeks on their project’s status and their performance.
• Conduct a baseline study including preliminary focus interviews to establish a baseline of community and participant behaviors, surveys to track participant’s changing behaviors, and focus groups to gather in depth views, perspectives and intragroup behavior.
• Prepare well documented reports based on the project’s reporting guidelines.
• Support evaluation and reporting activities related to project closure and developing project documents for the next phase.
