Call for Peace-Building/Leadership Trainers

Peace of Art is looking for three trainers to train each 8 different groups of 12-13 youth (16-29 years old), where each group will receive 16 hours of training within 4 months. We are looking for experienced candidates with over 3 years of experience within NGOs with youth from different backgrounds. This will be a 4-months contract-based part time position.

The trainers' responsibilities will be to:

- Improve youth's performance.

- Identify specific behaviors that will contribute to excellence and engagement of youth.

- Develop specific training programs to build effective leadership skills.

- Enhance youth's abilities to analyse and recognize problems.

- Support opportunities for confidence and acceptance through direct youth to youth contacts.

- Build a safe environment to strengthen respect and coexistence among youth from different backgrounds.

- Strengthen youth's ability to accept others and start dialogues.

- Encourage youth to express themselves.

- Encourage youth to change their perspectives and behaviours towards tolerance, conflict resolution, teamwork, commitment, communication, resilience, and have a positive outlook on life.

- Submit a report for every session on youth's performance and interaction as well as the impact and lessons learned within the training.
