Communications Officer (Unpaid Internship)

Peace Labs’ is in the early stages of bolstering our social media accounts and web presence. We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, and articulate intern to manage our social media and traditional media outreach.  Main Tasks: Bi-weekly updates of Peace Labs' website (including blog posts, photos and multimedia). Interviews with beneficiaries and other stakeholders to give members of the communities we serve a voice and social media presence.  Run Peace Labs Twitter and Facebook accounts ensuring Peace Labs' has an active and positive social media presence.  Create a series of short one-minute videos covering different stakeholders' views and reactions to Peace Labs' work.  Write short articles in non-academic language to share Peace Labs' work with a larger international audience.  Act as point-of-contact with Peace Labs' web developers to ensure Peace Labs' website maintains healthy levels of traffic.  Act as Peace Labs' point of contact with local media outlets.
