Peace Labs, will be implementing a 12-month project in the Northern Lebanon intended to empower 6 vulnerable localities to mitigate conflict. The project will provide resources and ongoing coaching and support to local conflict mitigation committees previously established by Peace Labs in these localities.
The Project Coordinator will be reporting directly to the Director and will be expected to manage the following tasks:
Project implementation related tasks
To develop a detailed action plan and budget forecast
To guarantee the implementation of the day-to-day project activities.
To ensure that the project activities meets their intended targets
To monitor the budget, until the end of the project.
To take on the financial tasks related to project implementation, including preparation of money transfers, cash requests, processing of invoices and donor financial reporting
To attend all the project’s activities.
To develop positive relationships with local stakeholders
Team management and support
To identify external consultants when needed and to prepare Terms of Reference (TORs) for them.
Documentation and Reporting
To produce monthly narrative and financial reports (in English) as required.
To ensure the project evidence of activities and outputs are well documented.
Monitoring and Evaluation
To ensure that the project is monitored and evaluated and that these findings are shared with the participating communities, the partners and the funding agencies.
To disseminate findings and any lessons learned both internally and externally.
Management of relations with partners and donors
To ensure good relationships with the donor by attending periodic meetings and maintaining good communication.
Representation
To represent the project vis-a-vis the communities.
To build good rapports with key community members.
Staff management
To develop good and healthy working relationships with the rest of the team.
Security
To assist in monitoring the security situation in the project area, and to inform the Director and the other partners of any potential risks and recommend appropriate action.
Fundraising
To support the Director in any fundraising efforts aiming at securing current and future support to the project
To contribute with ideas for new projects based on the achievements of the current project
