The consultancy will focus on the design, delivery, and follow-up of a comprehensive Training of Trainers (ToT) program, aimed at strengthening the emergency preparedness and response capacities of partner staff. Over a series of interactive and participatory sessions, the ToT will build the knowledge, skills, and confidence of up to 30 participants in key areas related to emergency planning, community engagement, and inclusive response mechanisms. The training will integrate adult learning principles and localized facilitation techniques to ensure effective knowledge transfer and sustainability.
The core training topics will include Emergency Preparedness Principles, Risk Assessment, Contingency Planning, Roles in Emergency Response, and Response to Sudden Displacement. Cross-cutting themes such as Gender Considerations in Emergencies and inclusive response strategies for vulnerable groups will be integrated throughout. The ToT will also cover Adult Learning & Facilitation Skills, equipping participants to design and deliver tailored community-level training sessions. All materials will be developed in Arabic to ensure accessibility and contextual relevance.
To support participants in localizing the training content, the consultancy will prepare comprehensive Arabic-language resources, including facilitation guides, role-play scenarios, simulation exercises, and community engagement tools. The sessions will use participatory methodologies such as group work, case studies, peer-to-peer coaching, and practical simulations.
