Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.  Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 21 countries in Africa, the Near East, Caucasus, Asia and the Caribbean to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.  PU-AMI in Lebanon has been implementing emergency and recovery projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, in Shelter Rehabilitation, Health and in Livelihood Recovery sectors.    POSITION GENERAL INFORMATION   Position: Assets & Premises Officer Based in: Halba, Akkar Salary: 1107$ to 1794$/ month (According to the experience, seniority and benefits)   Supervision Under the direct supervision of: Logistics Manager Supervision of  :               / Under the overall supervision of: Field Program Coordinator   OVERALL MISSION General objective  Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Manager, Assets & Premises Officer has to ensure and support all logistics activities linked the premises and assets of the base.   Responsibilities and tasks   Equipment follow up -       To follow up furniture and assets inventory after every purchase and systematically every month and share it with the line manager -       To ensure that the teams are aware of their obligations regarding the assets use -       To check physically the equipments and to update the list and systematically every month and share it with the line manager -       To dispatch the equipments according to the needs (and to update equipment list accordingly) -       To edit, update and file responsibility documents regarding the assets and other equipment -       To edit, update and file history of each asset (users, value, donor, etc.) -       To assess and report the asset needs of repairs and new assets to the line manager (asset needs list) -       To manage the stock of assets -       To make sure the assets are properly maintained     Procurement of Assets -       To  procure (or request the purchase from the coordination if needed) and follow up the delivery of all Durable Equipment for the base with the support of the coordination through the documents in place -       To ensure procedures are followed for all dispatch of durable equipment (Staff asset form, donation certificate, etc.) -       To  make sure that all Durable Items are tagged with logistics codes, properly registered and maintained     Premises management   -       To conduct assesments and select office and guest house locations according to the base needs and create a plan for the development and security of these sites -       To select storage locations at the office and create a plan for the development and security of these sites -       Reporting (monthly basis): Complete and share: Durable Equipment Needs of the base, assets follow-up, furniture follow-up, others if necessary -       To regularly inspect the office(s), guest house(s) and other work premises , assess and conduct/supervize the works needed -       To draw up a list of needs and manage the stock of maintenance items and consumables -       To look after all material or furniture on the base, carry out minor maintenance and repair work as well as improvements of the premises -       Follow up all contractual aspects of all premises, with the support of the administration team    The tasks and responsabilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.   QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory requierements   Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic and English, (speaking/reading/writing). Education Degree: Good knowledge in computer and high technology equipement Work experience: Previous relevant experience in a logistic function and preferably in an NGO Computer skills: Good skills in networking and Internet. Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Other  requierement -         Valid driving license (1 year minimum)   Assets   Other knowledge: Acquaintance with INGO' rules, procedures and regulations Interest: Work in relief Transversal skills -         Honest and trustworthy -         Reliable, rigorous and well organized -         Motivated and dedicated to his/her job -         Able and willing to learn to extend his/her scope of work -         Able to manage priorities, take initiatives and work without constant supervision
