Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.
Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 21 countries in Africa, the Near East, Caucasus, Asia and the Caribbean to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.
PU-AMI in Lebanon has been implementing emergency and recovery projects in infrastructure, in Shelter Rehabilitation, Health and in Livelihood Recovery sectors.

Supervision
- Under the direct supervision of: Mobilization campaign team leader
- Supervision of : Community mobilizers (daily workers)
- Under the overall supervision of: Deputy Field Coordinator
OVERALL MISSION
General objective
Under the direct supervision of the Mobilization campaign team leader, the Community field officer is responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of all the mobilization campaign activities. He/she directly implements the mobilization campaign, including the perception survey, the informative sessions and the events and monitors the work of community mobilizers. He/she is responsible for a qualitative and regular reporting on various components of the project.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Activities implementation
- Organize and implement the perception survey;
- Organize and implement the informative sessions
- Coordinate the community mobilizer teams (daily workers) on the field according to area of intervention
- Communication & Follow up
- To participate in the field work and respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information.
- Reporting
- Report orally on the progress of the mobilization campaign activities on a daily and weekly basis;
- Report immediately any delay, problem or other relevant information to the WASH Team Leader.
- Team Management
- Supervise the community mobilizers (daily workers) in the area of intervention and according to the Team Leader’s plan

QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory requirements
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic
- Education degree: On-site training in water supply, sanitation, infrastructures, construction works, health, social or medical sciences
- Work experience: 1 year experience in a similar position (NGOs/private companies) in WASH fields
- Computer skills: N/A
- Other:
- Valid driving license (for more 1 year minimum)
- Basic knowledge in one of the WASH pillar
- Good knowledge of North Governorate, willing to travel a lot locally and valid driving license
