Field Officer                   Première Urgence – Aide Médicale Internationale is a not-for-profit, non-political and non-religious NGO. The NGO’s objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.   PU-AMI’s involvement in the Syrian Crisis is strong, with a wide range of programs implemented in most of the countries affected by the conflict.   In Lebanon, PU-AMI intervenes in the areas of shelter and rehabilitation, infrastructure, WASH, food security and livelihoods, health, IS/CS management and protection, and education and psychosocial activities in three regions, namely the Akkar district in North Governorate, Beirut and Mount Lebanon Governorates, and Saida and Jezzine districts in the South Governorate.                 POSITION GENERAL INFORMATION   Position:Field Officer Component: CSCM Based in: AKKAR   Supervision   Under the direct supervision of:        CSCM Manager Under the indirect supervision of:      / Supervision of  :                          Focal points and community leaders Under the overall supervision of:      Field  Coordinator     OVERALL MISSION   General objective   Under the direct supervision of the CSCM Manager, the Protection Field Officer is responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of the activities but especially the objectives linked to protection, community mobilization, individual case referral, awareness session. He/she directly implement the software activities (update census, build trustful relation with the community, refer individual case and follow up on them, community mobilization, awareness session, gather information about all other actors intervene in the site…) with the help of beneficiaries, daily workers or volunteers.     Responsibilities and tasks   Activities implementation -          Implement all Protection program activities but mainly update census, build trustful relation with the community; identify, report and refer individual cases and follow up on them, community mobilization, awareness session, gather information about all other actors intervene in the site; -          Respect the design (activity chart) and required methodology of the works; -          Respect the principles of humanitarian protection and confidentiality; -          Follow the security rules to ensure security on-site; -          Provide technical guidance and follow up to Focal Points, daily workers, Community members and volunteers.   Communication & Follow up -        To be daily present on the differents ITS/CS and respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information. -        To prepare information leaflets to be distributed on site -        To refer special cases which need individual attention and follow their progress with the different stakholders.   Reporting -       Report orally on the progress of Protection activities on a daily and weekly basis; -       Report immediately any delay, problem or other relevant information to the CSCM Manager   The tasks and responsabilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.     QUALIFICATIONS     Mandatoryrequirements   Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic Education degree: On-site training in protection or social sciences Work experience: 1 year experience in a similar position (NGOs/private companies)in protection social or education fields Computer skills: N/A Other: -          Valid driving licence (for more 1 year minimum) -          Basic knowledge in protection, community mobilization, social works -          Good knowledge of South Governorate, willing to travel a lot locally and valid driving license -          Good communication skills with beneficiaries
