                        PREMIERE URGENCE AIDE MEDICALE INTERNATIONALE -      LEBANON      -                                                          Data Entry Officer   Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.   Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 22 countries in Africa, the Near East, Caucasus, Asia and the Caribbean to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.         PU-AMI in Lebanon   PU-AMI has been active in Lebanon implementing emergency and recovery projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, in Shelter Rehabilitation and in Livelihood Recovery sectors.   PU-AMI is implementing two WASH projects for vulnerable Palestinian Refugees, Syrian Refugees and the most vulnerable host communities in Lebanon. The projects activities include supply of safe drinking water (filter distributions, installation of water tanks...), setting up of safe sanitation facilities (construction, rehabilitation) and promotion of hygiene awareness (hygiene promotion sessions, distribution of hygiene kits, and distribution of baby kits...).           POSITION GENERAL INFORMATION   Ø Position                   : Data Entry Officer Ø Based in                   : Beirut Ø Supervised by       : Monitoring & Evaluation Supervisor Ø Last Day to Apply            : November 17, 2013 Ø Starting date         : As Soon As Possible         OVERALL MISSION   General objective   The Data Entry Officer has to ensure a correct and timely computerization of all data collected at field level by the project staff based in Beirut.   Responsibilities and tasks   Collecting and entering data To be the link in all data gathered in the field by the field officers To translate data from Arabic into English (if needed) To support the M&E Coordinator with the basic data analysis in preparation of final reports To enter and manage data regarding assigned projects implemented   Archiving To archive data files (Filled forms, Empty forms, …) To enforce the correct archiving of the documents   Reporting To report weekly about the achievements to the M&E Supervisor   The tasks and responsabilities of the Data Entry Officer mentionned above are not thorough and may be subject to evolve depending on the needs PU-AMI may have.       Supervision   Ø Under the direct supervision of : M&E Supervisor Ø Under the overall supervision of           : M&E Coordinator         QUALIFICATIONS     Mandatory requierements   -      Language Skills                Fluent in English, (speaking/reading/writing).
