General objective
The Database responsible has to ensure and coordinate the gathering, the registration and the analysis of the data collected in the field in Akkar base.
Responsabilities and tasks
Database management and supervision
- To participate in the design of different databases
- To supervise the data gathering collected by the field officers
- To translate data from Arabic into English (if the need be)
- To enforce the correct archiving of the documents
- To enter and manage data regarding the infrastructure project (beneficiaries, bills of quantities, etc.)
- To be in charge of data back up for the base and for the mission if needed
IT and Internet follow up and maintenance
- To be in charge of the cleaning and maintenance of all computers after being use for a long time by any staff
- To install and manage software, networks, printers on the mission
- To back up and format computer before reallocation to new staff
- To set up internet connection for the base if needed
- To provide any help on the mission on computer matters
- To follow up internet connection recharge, installation and problem solving
- To set up internet network and landline network if needed
Archiving
- To archive Data files (Filled forms, Empty forms, …)
- To centralize all entered data files (Assessment files, Follow up files, …)
Coordination
- To support program if needed and if agreed by APC (if time available).
- To attend program meeting if needed
Planning & Reporting
- To prepare a planning weekly and send it to the APC
- To report weekly about the achievements to the APC,
The tasks and responsabilities of the Database Responsible mentionned above are not thorough and may be subject to evolve depending on the needs PU-AMI may have.
