Background Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity. Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 19 countries in Africa, the Near East, Caucasus, Asia and the Caribbean to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises. LOGISTIC TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Supply Chain and procurement : -       To supply items/materials according to some base’s orders (mission & program) -       To use PU supply chain and procurement’s procedures -       To identify and select suppliers according to PU orders -       To order items in other base if needed -       To control quality and quantity Archive : -       To archive and centralize logistic files -       To settle purchase files -       To gather archives from programs (with HoB support) -       To ship the archives to Beirut to be prepared to be sent to the Head Quarter Cars and transportation : -       To manage transportation for PU staff (mission and program) -       To organise movement planning in and out of Tripoli Base -       To coordinate car management with Log Department in Saida. -       To provide items and materials from the supplier to the requester (included on the field if needed).  -       To use PU transportation’s procedure Human Resources : -       To supervise driver’s planning (according to the program’s needs, to the driver’s day-off, to the mission needs) Equipment : -       To follow up assets inventory and send the changes information to the Log Department in Saida to update assets list -       To report equipment list every 15 days -       To check physically equipment every month and update list -       To dispatch equipment on the base according to the needs (and to update equipment list) Storage : -       To organise storage (warehouse identification, rental negotiation) -       To recruit (in collaboration with Log and HoB), train and supervise storekeeper -       To use PU storage’s procedure Coordination : -       To be linked to the logistic coordinator in Beirut -       To attend program meeting if needed (recommended). Security : -       To share security information with Logistic Coordinator -       To follow up the security equipment management -       To follow up the evacuation modality and the checklist update -       To attend to the security meeting in Beirut at the end of each month Reporting : -       Weekly report (short and simple) on logistic activities (past, on going, future) to Log coordinator -       Monthly stock report ( if any stock) IT : -       To be able to solve computer hardware problems -       To be able to configure emails on Microsoft outlook 2007 -       To be able to configure routers -       To be able to install modem internet connection -       To be able to learn fast and to understand the computer technical instructions

- BT degree in the related field or equivalent
- Fluency in English (speaking/reading/writing)
