Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.   Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 21 countries in Africa, the Near East, Caucasus, Asia and the Caribbean to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.   PU-AMI in Lebanon has been implementing emergency and recovery projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, in Shelter Rehabilitation, Health and in Livelihood Recovery sectors.   POSITION GENERAL INFORMATION Position: Storekeeper Based in: Halba, Lebanon Salary: 929$ to 1303$/ months (according to the experience, the seniority and the benefits)   Supervision Under the direct supervision of: Warehouse Supervisor Supervision of:    / Under the overall supervision of: Field Program Coordinator   OVERALL MISSION   General objective Under the direct supervision of the the Warehouse Supervisor, the Storekeeper is responsible for the direct management and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions at the PU-AMI warehouse facilities. This includes accountability for inbound and outbound freight, as well as adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures.   Responsibilities and tasks Store management -       Manage the receiving, storage and shipping of all supplies at the warehouse -       Ensure all requests of stock are sent and delivered to the requesters (project managers) in a timely manner, according to the directives from the Warehouse Supervisor -       Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the Warehouse Supervisor Monitor the quality of products at the time of reception according to the information given by the Warehouse Supervisor and procurement officer(s) -       Regularly monitor the quality of products during storage. Pay special attention to expiration dates (if applicable) -       Implement warehouse layout and space requirements (to prevent loss or damage, to achieve warehouse optimization) according to the decision of the Warehouse Supervisor and manager.   Maintenance of storage premises and stored equipment -       Monitor the storage facilities and infrastructure both from inside and outside: locate damages and report them to the Warehouse Supervisor -       To do the cleaning (and regular disinfection if necessary) of storage spaces -       Under the instructions of the Warehouse Supervisor - implement protection against insects and pests inside the storage spaces and apply treatment upon the first sign of infection -       Ensure adequate ventilation of the storage premises -       Ensure the equipment and machines used by teams are cleaned before returning to the store   Documentation, Coordination and Reporting -       Update the follow-up documents on a daily basis (stock cards) -       Complete and archive all dispatch and receipt documents (Good Receive Note/Delivery Note/Stock Transfer Sheet/Way Bills)in compliance with PU-AMI standards -       Undertake a physical inventory at least once per month, under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor and SC Manager -       Supervise the team of daily workers for storage activities   The tasks and responsabilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.   QUALIFICATIONS   Mandatory requierements Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic and good level in English, (speaking/reading/writing). Education Degree: Very good knowledge in premises management and storage procedures – General technical knowledge Work experience: Previous relevant experience in a logistics function and preferably in an NGO Computer skills: Good knowledge in Microsoft and Pack Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) and Reporting Other  requierement -         Valid driving license (1 year minimum) Assets Other knowledge: Acquaintance with NGO' rules, principles, procedures and regulations Interest: Work in relief Transversal skills -         Take initiatives and works independently -         Honest and trustworthy -         Quality Oriented -         Reliable, rigorous and well organized -         Motivated and dedicated to his/her job -         Able to manage time and  priorities under stress
