Under the direct supervision of the Logistic Manager, the Warehouse Officer manages the reception, storage, safe-keeping and delivery of goods, tools and equipments used by PU-AMI or under the responsibility of PU-AMI.   Responsibilities and tasks   Maintenance of warehouse/storage premises and stored equipment   -       Monitor the storage facilities and infrastructure both from inside and outside: locate damages and propose the necessary                 repairs; -       Plan warehouse layout and space requirements (to prevent loss or damage, to achieve warehouse optimization) and organize            the implementation -       Supervise cleaning and regular disinfection of storage spaces; -       Introduce protection against insects and pests inside the storage spaces and apply treatment upon the first sign of infection -       Ensure adequate ventilation of the storage premises; -       Ensure the equipment and machines used by teams are cleaned before returning to the store; -       Monitor the quality of products at the time of reception. Put aside non-compliant or infected products and report to the                   Logistics Manager; -      Regularly monitor the quality of products during storage. Pay special attention to expiration dates.   Management of warehouse/storage premises   -     In conjunction with the Logistics Manager, make provisions for the staff and necessary equipment for loading /unloading; -     Manage and organize the receiving, storage and shipping of all supplies at the warehouse, directly or indirectly; -     Supervise the team of daily workers charged with storage activities.   Documentation and Reporting   -      Ensure that all dispatch and receipt documents (Good Receive Note/Delivery Note/Stock Transfer Sheet/Way Bills)are complete        and archived in compliance with PU-AMI standards; -      Draft or complete, dispatch and receipt documents in compliance with PU-AMI standards; -      Monitor incoming and outgoing equipment; -      Maintain updated inventory lists and do physical inventory on a monthly basis; -      Prepare and send to the Logistics Manager the stock report on a monthly basis; -      Regularly meet with the other supply chain and/or program teams in order to organize and plan the next deliveries and                  distribution plans and anticipate needs and challenges; -     Work with the program teams in order to clarify their needs and ensure a good understanding of PU-AMI procedures to optimize        the work between the teams.     The tasks and responsabilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.     QUALIFICATIONS   Mandatory requierements Education Degree: Very good knowledge in premises management and storage procedures – General technical knowledge (identification of proper items) Work experience: Previous relevant experience in a logistic function and preferably in an NGO Computer skills: Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel and Word and computer sciences.
