Proud Lebanon is looking for a contractual PSS trainer.
The trainer should organize and deliver sessions on preventing violence and specifically SGBV in all its forms, promoting gender equality, positive masculinity and respect for diversity, raising awareness on substance abuse and addiction as well as sexual and reproductive health, and increasing participant’s self- efficacy and self-control.

Conditions of service and Management

  • The duration of the contract is the project.
  • The contractor will report to Proud Lebanon’s Director. 
  • The contractor will work on a curriculum for the sessions to be delivered based on the project’s plan.
  • Contractor should maintain a training report and comply with all other Proud Lebanon’s regulations such as checklists and invoices.
    Proud Lebanon’s management retains the right to suspend payment on non-compliance of terms or in the event of poor-quality work.
    These decisions will not be taken arbitrarily but in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Contractor should abide by all Proud Lebanon’s internal regulations including the code of conduct, PSEA, Speak UP among others. 
  • Remuneration: installments will be paid by the end of each month and after submission of each monthly report.

Required Skills

  • Extensive work experience and proven record in development Strategies & tools
  • Demonstrate experience of having undertaken similar assignments
  • Proven experience in psychosocial support in protection and specifically in SGBV
  • Advanced degree in Psychology, Social Science, International Development or Affairs,
  • Proven communication and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity development, mentoring and staff development.
  • Strong understanding of humanitarian protection principles and standards
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic are required
