Animator for Art and/or the Performing Arts

Red Oak is a Lebanese NGO. It promotes innovative approaches to existing social, educational, and cultural structures through education, art, art therapy and mental health, for the protection of children, and the empowerment of women and girls, with a special attention for people with disabilities.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arranging, planning and facilitating activities and sessions.
• Providing art sessions and/or performing arts sessions to children and youth.
• Maintaining workshops and tools.
• Organizing and carrying out group workshops.
• Providing necessary training materials.
• Delivering the content in an interactive and creative approach to keep the participants engaged
• Perform other relevant duties as required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor degree in Art, Psychology or related area
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in art and or performing arts is required
• Good in written and spoken English, fluent in Arabic
• Experience in Content/Curriculum Development
• Experience in working in a multi-cultural and/or international work environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
