Project Coordinator (Women Empowerment)

Looking for a Project Coordinator to work on the planning and implementation of Women Empowerment Programs.  Responsibilities include: Providing input and ideas into the strategy, design and structure of the program Coordinate details of events such as conferences, workshops, round tables, exhibitions Help project managers in their respective tasks and brainstorming sessions when needed Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating events in line with the organization’s mission and strategic plan.  Schedule speakers, vendors, and participants Conduct through research on topics of relevance.  Suggest new viable topics for events locally, regionally and globally.  Act as an agenda manager and follow up on content and speakers. Sourcing guest speakers and expert mentors to participate in the program, and working with them to prepare for their roles Give direction for the administrative, social media team to implement tactics and ensure success of each event  Use media platforms to market conferences, workshops, further strategic partnerships, and grow database and network.  Run evaluation and feedback forms after event execution to ensure adoption of best practices.  Proactively research and suggest cost-efficient tools and ways to improve operations' quality.  Required skills Experience in designing and undertaking community-based projects Excellent spoken and written communication skills, in both Arabic and English Proactive and assertive, with the ability to work independently and also to direct other Strong organizational and planning skills Strong work ethic and personal drive to succeed Familiarity with gender issues Confident and mature, with the ability to build strong relationships with people of different background Commitment to professional development and learning, especially in the development of leadership and management skills
