Supporting to Aspiring Children and Youth (SACY) is a program that aims at building resilience by improving the education outcomes and psychosocial well-being of Vulnerable Syrian refugee children and Lebanese children.
This will be achieved by addressing two objectives: 1) Improve retention in formal public schools for severely vulnerable Syrian refugees and Lebanese children. 2) Improve psychological well-being and interpersonal life skills for severely vulnerable Syrian refugees and Lebanese children. In addition to the Homework Support component, the project includes music, art, and theater education.
- Duration of the Theater program: January 2023 to August 2023
- Area of implementation: West and Central Bekaa (Qab Elias, Bar Elias, Marj, Ghazze and Saadnayel).
- Theater Project Target Group: 20 Syrian and Lebanese children Syrian Refugee children and Lebanese vulnerable children aged 17 years old and above will participate in taking Theater education.
