Area Coordinator

Working with other relevant RI staff on vulnerability assessment and beneficiary selection for the program, including targeting of informal settlements. Engaging with municipalities and other local authorities or actors as necessary to facilitate access and security in the targeted locations in North Lebanon.         Staying fully informed of changes on the ground with the refugee communities in North Lebanon, particularly in Akkar and those residing in the program's targeted Informal Settlements, and communicating these changes to the broader RI team as necessary.  This includes the evolving security situation in North Lebanon. Establish close working relationships with NGOs, host government agencies, and U.N. agencies working in Akkar Lebanon; meet regularly with individuals and groups from these organizations as appropriate in the North. Ensure attendance at and coordination with the Akkar Lebanon Cash Working Group and Protection Working Group, which meets regularly for specific issues in the North. Working closely with RI's team and partner organization to support the implementation of ALL activities in North Lebanon. In coordination with RI's Program Manager and M&E Team, compile program activity information, evaluating progress toward achievement of program outcomes. Develop monthly report formats that capture relevant information and that support the analysis and evaluation of program progress. Other duties as required.
