Communication Officer

Essential Functions and Areas of Accountability:

Communications:

• Develop communications strategy for Lebanonand ensure that the communication strategy is properly implemented and in alignment with the general guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
• Work closely with Grants Manager to support implementation of visibility and communication plans per project;
• Developing/updating capacity statements and project summaries;
• Creating dashboards for all active projects’ findings;
• Writing project success stories to be posted on RI website and/or shared with the donors upon request;
• Liaise with Program and MEAL Teams to receive photos and quotes from the field as needed to support the communications materials.
• Assist in creating other program communication materials as requested.

Miscellaneous

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism while working or coordinating with beneficiaries, their family members, and any internal or external party; any incident or work-related conflict should be immediately reported. The Job holder should avoid going into any work-related communication which might jeopardize the relationship of RI with any party; 
• The job holder should demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity, professionalism, politeness and objectivity when dealing with the beneficiaries under all circumstances; 

• Actively participate in internal meetings and submit all deliverables per deadline.
