RI works in 29 countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.   Position Summary: The Coordination and Liaison Assistant is responsible to ensure that all information and data from the field are captured and documented. The Coordination and Liaison Assistant will assist the Communication and Reporting Officer in developing communication tools and ensure that it complies with the donors’ requirements and criterion.  The Coordination and Liaison Assistant will assist and support the Communications and Reporting Officer in reporting in a results-based and timely manner for donors and internal purposes for RI and Lebanon.  Main Responsibilities A-    Communication Support the Communications and Reporting Officer in implementing and monitoring the communication and visibility plan to facilitate better understanding among partners and government about RI as an organization and its programs’ progress Develop, update and maintain communications materials; maintain linkages with other INGO in Lebanon. Draft briefs, press releases and other secondary content relevant to the project as well as featured articles. Ensure that the trainings will be done according to the training agenda, and the venue of trainings are prepared according to RI visibility plan.   Coordinate with the Communications and Reporting Officer, the Program Managers (PMs) and the Deputy Country Director (DCD) when a donor field visit is required to ensure all related donor’s visibility is implemented according to plan. Ensure all visibility requirements are implemented on the field level that reflects RI’s targeted areas and programs. Undertake filed visits to gather the information, photographs and results related to the programs Aid in developing visibility material such as articles, newsletters, and online updates Accompany RI's Monitoring & Evaluation Field Officer/Operations Officers to the field to capture success in the forms of pictures, videos, and success stories.        B-    Reporting   Support program staff in organizing and managing seminars, workshops, press conferences and field visits as required; Provide relevant expert services to the project management unit, program components and implementing partners on reporting and communications Support the Communications and Reporting Officer to coordinate with Operations Manager and Program Managers, and create the required templates for internal and external use. Attend RI internal meetings to collect data and minutes Other duties are needed.   C-    Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Social Sciences, Marketing or related areas.  1-2 years relevant working experience. S/he should have an extensive experience in communication and diffusion strategies and techniques, reporting, documentation, publication, and audio-visual material preparation in relation to conservation and development fields. S/he should possess excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills in both English and Arabic. Ability to commute between different RI activity sites and locations Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication, social, and interpersonal skills S/he must be well versed in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Arabic language typing. S/he must be fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English languages.     Salary: According to Relief International Lebanon Salary Scale
